PROBLEM STATEMENT

Theft, Mistrust in Purchasing Properties in Nigeria from First World Countries

Buying property in Nigeria while living abroad often feels like a gamble. People worry about sending their hard-earned money across borders only to get scammed, lose their savings, or deal with fake agents and disputed land. That fear creates a massive wall of mistrust.

A safe, transparent bridge between Diaspora buyers and Nigerian real estate.

Verified Listings: Every plot, home, and document is thoroughly vetted before it goes live. No middleman tricks, no ghost properties. Clear Ownership Tracking: Real time updates and legal confirmation at every step so buyers always know where their money is going. Seamless Transactions: Simple cross border payment flows that remove guesswork, protect funds, and build complete confidence.

RESEARCH

Direct Field Verification, Documentation and Interviews

Legal titles, survey plans, and ownership records were verfied directly with official government registries to confirm authentic ownership before any listing went live. Physical, on site research was conducted instead of simply relying on remote data. Prospective properties were assessed, verified, infrastructure tested (power supply, water supply, road accessibility, network strength) and ground conditions were promptly documented.
On-site teams captured high-definition photos, walk-through videos and aerial drone coverage to create an objective visual record for distant buyers. Direct feedbacks from buyers living abroad were gathered to identify specific pain points, such as mistrust in local representatives, hidden fees, and fear of fraudulent deals.

Distrust in Unverified Agents, Frustration with Hidden Middleman Fees and Need for Remote Ground Truth

Overseas buyers reported extreme hesitation working with unvetted third party middlemen or unverified social media realtors due to risk of fraud. Buyers prioritized deals tied strictly to registered businesses verified by the Corporate Affairs Commission over individual contacts or informal channels.
Distance prevented buyers from confirming basic site conditions like road access, power, or water, making remote visual proof essential before committing funds. Buyers consistently highlighted hidden commissions and added markup fees as major friction points when purchasing property back home.

USER JOURNEY

The User Journey

Search the Map: The buyer opens the app from abroad and browses verified land, houses, and commercial plots across major Nigerian cities using interactive filters.
Inspect Remotely: They take a virtual tour of the property through drone aerials, walkthrough videos, and 3D media to inspect site conditions directly from their phone.
Verify the Property: The buyer requests on-site verification, where a ground reviewer checks physical beacons, utilities, and title documents at official registries.
Connect with Vetted Agents: They reach out directly to CAC-verified agents and registered companies listed on the platform without middleman interference. Buy Direct with Confidence: The buyer closes the deal on transparent, direct terms with the vetted agent, completely free of extra buyer fees or hidden charges.
